About Our Lab
Deciphering Neurodegeneration at Single‑Cell Resolution
Located in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Cádiz and affiliated with INiBICA (Biomedical Research and Innovation Institute of Cádiz), our lab combines high‑resolution single‑cell transcriptomics, in vivo murine models, and histological validation to unravel cell‑type–specific alterations in Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Our primary goals are to identify vulnerable cell populations and to prioritize key genes for therapeutic intervention.
